He was an AM in Cardiff and his constituency was Deeside - he had by the sounds of it a number of accusations against him - he was suapended from the Welsh Assembly last week and they are saying on the news reports that it was suicide. Absolutely terrible for his wife and children.
They suspended business at the Welsh Assembly today.

I think that he was a member of the Welsh Parliament.
I don’t know much about it, or why he did this, but it shows the importance of not ruining somebody’s reputation and life ( unless the charges are of the utmost seriousness.)

It was reported on Radio 2 that Carl Sargeant has been found dead, a suspected suicide. He was one of the men accused of sexual impropriety at Westminster. Whilst I have no idea whether these accusations are true or not his death does make me feel that it is time we gave the same anonymity to those accused as we do to those who are accusing.
