If a man surrounds himself with those from a known communist background, is openly an admirer of communist leaders and holds up their communist rule as one to be copied in the UK, has been a long standing contributor to the communist Morning Star paper, has espoused the virtues of Communism/Marxism for all of his adult life and tenure as an MP, why on earth would it not be assumed he is totally happy to be called a Communist / Marxist?
I find it odd that those who deny any connection between Corbyn/McDonnell as Communists/ Marxists must presumably see being called a Communism/Marxist a 'dirty word', 'an insult' or something to deny any contact with.
Why?
If those who protest Corbyn /McDonnell are not Communist/Marxists what is it about Communism/Marxism that upsets you so?
I would have thought that those who indeed display an open support for Corbyn/McDonnell would naturally follow the beliefs of Corbyn and McDonnell. Furthermore follow in their footsteps and accept their beliefs, rhetoric, political Allies and allegiances .
It is bemusing to see such vehemently , proud Corbyn supporters distance themselves from Corbyn/McDonnell when it comes to the subject of Communism/Marxism. It's as if they fear being tarred with the label themselves yet respect it in Corbyn and McDonnell.
