Which world are you living in? If you want to see what a dictator looks like then look at Turkey or North Korea and then over to Syria.

Juncker may have a valid point but his intention was clear, mock the UK for Brexit. He looked at the audience with a smirk and knew he was making a broad side against the UK intentionally. The audience found it funny but I think some of the EU Parliament MEP's will be holding their heads in their hands.

As with the 'leak' this childish behaviour from the EU Commission representative Juncker proves Theresa May is correct and the irony is Juncker is so bloody stupid he is making the vote share for Theresa May probably increases every time he opens his mouth.

There are five weeks until the general election, so it could have been delivered next week, to be more useful.

Like I said, it would be interesting to see where the cost of this wraparound comes, because the local Conservative candidate is not mentioned. It is all about Theresa May and Brexit. Nothing about the Durham election.

dj You say the paper delivered was a weekly, therefore presumably it is delivered the same day every week, so the fact the wraparound was delivered the day before the local election has nothing to do with the local elections. If the usual delivery day was Friday, it would have arrived a day too late for those. Of course it is in relation to the GE, I would anticipate your local Labour party are considering something similar or another kind of mass leaflet distribution

Yesterday, I had the local weekly delivered. There was a four page wraparound, Theresa May for Britain, strong and stable, etc., important Brexit message on the back, the rest attacking Corbyn.
Why yesterday? Local elections, of course.
I hope it gets looked into in terms of election costs.
It's nothing to do with local elections or the general election. It's a presidential advert.

we are not antagonising the EU, purely wanting to leave. The more we state what we are going to do, the more bullying threatening tactics come to the fore which shows fear and weakness. Its a classic example of what dictators do.

Its fine jen, we all have to put up with something that's annoying in life, with an occasional swat, it's never perfect.

Coalitions don't work The more I come on these threads and the more I read I get to realise that "armchair" politicians are pretty flaky. Thank god none of you are actually in the government. You're like little annoying buzzing flies that won't go away and need to be swatted. You can't actually get over yourselves and come together as a nation at all.
