They have announced that they will lay down their arms and reveal where stockpiles are stored as early as next month.

The two governments are treating it with caution, but saying they will do everything to facilitate it. ETA is wanting to negotiate its dissolution in exchange for amnesties or improved prison conditions for approximately 350 members still held in Spain and France, so it's there is a lot of negotiating to do yet.
After 829 murders some scars will be very deep in sections of society, let's hope it can at last bring peace to those regions.
