Trisher surely all those issues under May as Home Secretary were well reported at the time? Maybe I'm wrong but they all looked pretty familiar to me? They may not look great on her CV but I don't think the media covered anything up or ignored it to protect her. I'm not saying there is never bias but, in general, I think I the media is pretty fair. They must be as the more partisan supporters of all political parties seem to complain a great deal about bias against their party!

I am glad the government did scrap the NIC proposal, perhsps May should hsve borrowed Corbyns line on being asked by the selecte committee why he called Hamas his friends. - WITH HINDSIGHT I REALISE I WAS WRONG.

I'm affected by the media, Ankers. It's only delusional people who claim not to be.
That's why I choose my media carefully. I make sure not to be influenced by Murdoch for a start.

It isn't a question of believing everything the media says POGS rather of being fed biased or inadequate information that provides a slanted view of someone. A prime example is Theresa May.She was one of the worst Home Secretaries ever, but her failures and their effects were rarely reported in the popular press. She is now a PM with a very dodgy history, but no one is challenging her.
