Jen, if you consider .blair to be inconsequential why do you ask what he did in the campaign , you care what he does if you wouldn't ask.

As for what happened to May, she became PM , she was not leader of the Conservative party during the campaign.

Unfortunately people tend to think "labour" is a party for the working class population and it isn't. That doesn't exist anymore.

People in these areas do however tend to vote labour still in that belief, and yes, these areas are Brexit mainly due to being so affected by mass immigration, affluent or rising aren't. Does no-one get this?

How do they know who voted what? I think I can understand the Labour figures if they asked 'every single' Labour 'Member' how they voted but the Labour membership is a spit in the ocean when it comes to these who vote for Labour in a General Election. Likewise any party.

It is political spin to keep using the Labour 'Membership' figures as factual evidence as to how Labour voters voted.

So many of the things said about Corbyn are so illogical and so contradictory it's a joke.
Firstly it's alleged he wasn't committed enough to the campaign OK so if that is true what possible difference would him taking 3 days off have made? In fact if it is true then perhaps he should have stayed away longer. Of course it isn't true and the weekend break is expanded to 'taking a holiday' just to have another reason for Corbyn bashing.
Then there's the not taking part in a TV debate, explained by him as being because he didn't want to be seen endorsing Cameron and Tory policies. A perfectly reasonable idea and presumably a decision taken with the advice and agreement of the party but blamed entirely on him.
Any attempt at political debate on most threads now is stifled by the Corbyn bashers who want to blame him for everything. He isn't perfect but nor is he the devil incarnate as some keep saying. He is the best Labour leader available for the moment .

The fact you and durhamjen overlook is the fact it is Labour MP's who have said this about Corbyn's 'ambivalence' and the link durhamjen provided earlier, plus the speech by Tony Blair to OPEN EUROPE which kicked this off again.

I would personally like to "bash" them all apart from Theresa May.

I don't want to bash Corbyn, I want to remind him whilst Labour Party activists were working hard for fourteen years after the disasterous 1983 election he was stabbing them in the back, one was walking the streets and organising fund raising events for the party whilst suffering from cancer , she didn't live to see the 1997 win .

I think Corbyn is not a good leader (and I've been honest about), but I agree with what trisher wrote:

I imagine that the Conservatives feel very warm and fuzzy towards Corbyn ( so he is liked by by some.)
