No sunseeker I am saying that they should think very carefully about where their vote could lead. It's probably scaremongering to claim that voting for a single UKIP MP would lead to a fascist state, but the working class, ordinary people in early 1930s Germany were duped in exactly the same way.

I can understand why people in Stoke think the way thay do. If you haven't watched John Harris' video, I suggest you do. However, my question to any UKIP canvasser turning up on my doorstep would be "So what are YOU going to do?" UKIP specialises in negative rhetoric, but it doesn't have any answers.

There are UKIP supporters on GN. Maybe they could enlighten us about any positives in UKIP's policies.

I found out which one you meant - Trudie McGuinness. She's worked in Further Education for years and is a member of ATL, which is the a very moderate teaching union. I was a member of ATL for years. Before that, I was a member of SOGAT. I don't think anybody would bother giving details of my union membership on my CV, but I suppose I might if I were applying to be a Labour politician.
