Pre-war Germany was not like North Korea. Hitler was able to succeed and hold power because he exploited people's prejudices. Don't forget that there were a considerable number of British who thought his 'disciplinary' measures were a positive force against 'liberal elitism'. British MPs attending the funeral of a British Prime Minister is slightly different to attending the funeral of a foreign dictator.

Cuba is a democracy. They vote, and if the person they are voting for does not get 50% of the vote, they choose someone else to vote for.
It also has a written constitution, which is more than we have.
It's written into it that all residents have free healthcare and education.
