No one 'promised' the £350m would be given to the NHS. Even if it had been, why get all het up about it now, before we've even left the EU?

Brexit is a reality and is not going away any time soon.Perhaps you will like the reality of it when it is actually decided, which is going to be ages.

granjura on and on you go, It is accepted by all that both sides told lies, most of us could see through the lies on both sides and made up our minds to either stay or leave.And that's it really, you have to live with it.

This morning I saw an article which said that the UK Gvt could have arranged things in such a way as we did not have all the EU immigration - I had no idea about this - knew they could have always restricted the rest of the world migrants (but didn't) so it was not the fault of the EU at all. If I can find the article - written by a reputable person - I will try and post a link. It showed point by point how it could have all been regulated from the start.

There is no brow beating. Some of us said the very narrow margin was due to blatant lies by the Brexit side. Replies have several times stated that 'both sides lied'- this was challenged right from the first time it was stated- and no-one has deemed it fair to reply. Not one.

As DJs link states today, a significant number of MPs are asking for promises re the 350 m to the NHS to be honoured- as they should. It is therefore relevant to today.

I said I'd wait patiently till tomorrow, and so I will. And as said, we will all come to the obvious conclusions if no answer comes- that the 'remain' side never ever lied (although it did give their own interpretation of possible consequences - which somehow seem to come true, one by one ...).

There will be Ana when reality sets in!

Maizie I haven't heard that this has been said so far ( no hard Brexit) assuming by that term that we won't be in the single market.
if, on the other hand, we could be in the single market with either no free movement of people or a huge curb on the numbers, then that would be fine.
If May accepted the single market and free movement, then she and the Conservatives would be in for a very short time in power methinks.

Well, I've been out for a few hours and come back to find from twitter that Theresa May is saying that there won't be a 'hard brexit'. Which kind of contradicts the impression given at the Cons. Party Conference...

So what would you Leavers think if she did accept free movement of people, as at present?

Thing is, it's been 4 months since the referendum and we still have no idea what is happening . That's why we are debating the same issues. Ad infinitum...

No, it's about Brexit and what's going to happen when we leave the EU, and how nobody in government knows, not even the PM.
Rather important in the grand scheme, or the great repeal act.

Is that all this thread is about? Who told what lies and how many in the run-up to the referendum? Sigh...

The last two posts are clearly not relevant at all to the question asked. And I am sorry I 'shouted'- but having asked so many times, without any reply ... it is getting tedious.

So I'll wait patiently for relevant replies, just a little longer. If none come by tomorrow morning- then we will all come to the relevant conclusions.

Granjura, people including myself have articulated way back why we opted to vote leave. I've even said it twice and am not prepared to repeat my reasons yet again! Be assured though that it was nothing to do with immigrants or a message on the side of a bus! If I had another vote it would be the same as nothing about the EU endears me to that cumbersome unelected organisation, and I am totally convinced that long term this country will be much better outside this organization. I voted, many years ago, to go into the Common Market, which if asked I would still support as I then perceived it. Had I realised all those years ago what I was actually voting for long term, it would as now have been NO!

No need to shout. How on earth do you know it was a lie when we are still paying out to the EU? How do you know what the money saved will be spent on?

Perhaps it's you, granjura and not roses who is Theresa May's 'special friend' as you seem to know so much about what's going to happen after Brexit.

it is hugely important- because it was a blatant, deliberate LIE and swayed 1000s in their decision. There was no 'could, or would or may' it was 'let's' and 'I suggest we do'.

So, back to the other point. The LIES from the remain campaign- PLEASE could you please, just mention ONE(not an interpretation of possible consequences) ONE blatant and deliberate, clear LIE. I am asking politely, again.
