So I asked a question (14.52) as to what those posters who believe Corbyn and McDonnell are displaying a 'kinder, friendlier politics think about ' YET ANOTHER ' of John McDonnell's bloody horrible comments? Does he have the stature to be the Chancellor of the Exchequer given his foul mouthed tirades and attacks on other MP's, it would appear not only in opposition but his own party too.
Surprised by seeing only 2 posters had commented on his behaviour, absolutely not. Why, because it appears to me the vitriol the likes McDonnell espouses is seen as a badge of honour in some quarters.
I will repeat again and again it is not the Parliamentary Labour Party that are 'the sh--s' as I heard someone say, it is the likes of Corbyn, McDonnell et al who are having a ball trying to get their style of politics 'back' on the agenda in the Labour Party. One that failed miserably in the 80's. Kinnock taking a verbal bashing doesn't surprise me as he has never been forgiven for 'taking on', purging the likes of Derek Hatton on and Militant has he. Now that ilk are back.
I find it ironic that I see and hear so many people who got on the band wagon of stating ' We must have a more friendly, respectful type of politics' when the much respected MP Jo Cox was murdered. Yet it seems the very same people are utterly incapable of keeping so much as a civil tongue in their head, let alone enact what they said we must all do by doing the exact opposite .
I have said from day one of Corbyn taking the Leadership and the inception of Momentum there will be a nastiness take over the Labour Party and in my opinion worse is possibly to come. The Hustings will be taking place and I think they will get pretty lively at times.
The nastiness is not a new concept, some Labour MP's have been reporting bullying for months and it came to a head firstly with the vote of no confidence and then the Leadership challenge. How on earth can Corbyn say he wants to 'UNITE' the party when the Shadow Chancellor and Union Leaders are intent on saying one thing but obviously doing the other.
