London Mayor

London G'netters, out of interest, which of the last two London mayors do you think was the better and achieved more for Londoners. (Don't want to start a party fall-out, I lived there for several years and am intrigued).

Anno I actually have a postal vote but forgot about it. I would have remembered because I always vote. I have one booklet to receive, the pink one i believe and then I will be able to decide. I also did not bother cancelling mine. I would prefer an on line vote but that will not happen

If you'd had a postal vote, Charley, we could all have helped you on line! I got a postal vote 11 years ago when I had the hip surgery and have never cancelled it.

That sounds a good idea- this poor brain is going to need some help I think.

Charleygirl how about a coffee meetup in your booth? we could work it out together

I do hope that there will be a seat and cup of coffee provided in my booth as it is going to take forever to wade through it all, ever hopeful that I understand it at the end of it.

Well why haven't I got a pink booklet? Only one I've got is the why-we-should-stay-in -Europe one.

You're not paying attention!

The Constituency member is not for your local council but for the Assembly; how that differs from the London-wide Assembly member I've no idea.

The booklet does kindly explain that there will be differently-coloured ballot papers!

There's also something about transferable votes

So we will be voting for Mayor, London Assembly and local council at the same time , crikey better keep my wits about me or I'll get

To add to your excitement tanith it also lists the candidates for the London Assembly.

There will be two ballot papers for the Assembly - one for your Constituency member and one for the London-wide Assembly member ..... are you still with me

oooooh! Riverwalk haven't had the pink booklet yet , how exciting still got that to come then.

Both Sadiq and Zac have said if elected that each will keep the Freedom Pass!

In addition to the In/Out booklet we lucky Londoners also have a 31-page pink booklet to flick through and bin.
