I'll just wear my House of Lords robe all the time. It'll cover a multitude of sins -a sort of velvet and (artificial I insist) ermine burka. Lovely. Wonder if I can wear my slippers too?

It won't include clothes, in fact I think the PM's wife will get a clothing allowance. Just think of all the formal dresses she'd need. Anyway, we'll share the dress advisor in our government. I can't wait to go shopping! Or maybe the shops will come to us with goodies for us to try on! Somebody give me the phone number for Rigby and Peller so I can get fitted for a new bra!

So I want quite a lot of posh evening clothes to wear to all my art and culture dos. So can I book the stylist at her earliest convenience?

Surely she doesn't pay £54k for a style advisor? I honestly thought she chose her own wardrobe or at least didn't pay out that kind of money. Even if the advisor only works for Sam (unlikely), that's a ridiculous amount of money. Maybe she shares her with the Cabinet and their partners. Don't care who is in power when it comes to this btw.

Hiring an advisor. Why mention it and what she's paid? Seems irrelevant to me, particularly as all PM's wives seem to!

Sam Cam gets and pays £54k for an advisor for her dress choice etc. I wouldn't mind just the 54k just for dresses although goodness knows what I would buy for that.
