OH and I had a big row discussion this morning. He is completely against same sex marriages, I think it is lovely that they can build such a sound relationship. I bet the percentages of same sex divorces proves lower than heterosexual divorces.

I can't come to terms with it. I would never criticise any gay person, it's a fact of life. A sad fact, I think, but no blame can be attached.

But marriage? No. That's something else.

But, live and let live.

Well, heteroshave always had the option, I suppose?

Lovely to see all those joyful people able to celebrate like everyone else.

I find it a bit odd that same sex couples are rushing to get married but many heterosexual couples are quite happy just living together without going through a ceremony.

It was good to see the happy couples getting married around the country today, and interesting to see that the ones on the news have been together for a long time. One couple I saw being interviewed yesterday said they had wanted a simple, quiet wedding but by booking it at a minute past midnight they had brought on themselves a mad dash from the media to talk about their view of the change in the law. Still, great to see progress smile
