I'm not clear what the "rubbish about getting old" actually is.

I am so happy to be here after the horrible few years DH and I have had healthwise. I love my age and am proud of my wrinkles even though I use anti-wrinkle cream every day and night. I am happy happy happy.

Talking about the comp. Have you noticed that it has more posts than any other recent post at the moment.

I'm grateful for every wrinkle, they are signs of surviving this far. I don't miss my younger days as life is definitely better now and frankly I've always been invisible and I'm happy to continue that way.

My health and fitness is much more important to me. The inevitable wrinkles are there and I just accept them. So, yes, I count my blessings that I am still fit and able compared to some of my peers.

Abso-bloomin-lutely!! I also think we are a lot less hung up on all the "seven signs of ageing" guff than advertisers etc imagine.
