I am very happy to sign this. I had a neighbour whose first baby died from SIDS. After she had her second one she was given some sort of monitor to wear all the time I'm not sure how it worked and it was a help but was not 100% re-assuring. Fortunately the second one is now a strapping teenager but I think the anxiety was constantly with my neighbour in the early years . A test like this would have helped I think.
Sadly I know a teacher who had 2 children pass away in her class during her career. She taught 6 / 7 year olds. I am sure there would have been a thorough investigation especially after the second death but I know she was teaching 10 years later. She had a son and a daughter and she taught my 2 daughters. I would think she is retired now but I would have no problems with her teaching my granddaughters if she turned up at a school in Birmingham.
