Enjoyable meet up this morning ladies. I haven't forgotten about the Mocha Squares recipe but will have to copy it from my sheet.

Very enjoyable meet up, pleasantly surprised with the cafe.

Mocha Squares Recipe

Oven 160C

8oz SR flour
2ox cocoa
8oz sugar (I use caster sugar or soft light brown sugar)
8oz butter
5oz oats (I use half oats and half dessicated coconut)

Melt the butter in a bowl or saucepan then add in dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Press down into a traybake sized tin and cook for 15 mins. It will seem puffy and soft when it comes out but don't give it any longer!

When cool mix 2oz of melted butter and a tablespoon of very strong coffee into 8oz of icing sugar and add hot water until it can be spread over the traybake.

Cut into chunks; it tastes even better the next day.

I also open freeze some slices and then pack them in a box in the freezer as it makes a lot of slices. Ideal if you're asked to take something for a party or gathering.

Hi there just wondering to Charlie, Gritty and others if anyone would like to meet in Debenhams cafe at the end of June. It’s central, quite spacious and handy for public transport.

I would like to meet up if I am free. Even if anyone finds the previous location at Camphill better that is fine by me too.

Sorry can’t make that as we are away until the middle of July. Hope you have a good meet up.

I’m Red Hatting on 1st July so not a good day for me.
