Hi everyone, thought I would bump our next meetup to the top as a little reminder. This is a friendly meetup and chance to get to know other nan's or granddads, all welcome. It's open to all but probably more relevant to people living anywhere in the northwest, I am travelling from Merseyside and open to providing lifts if needed.

Hopefully some of you can join us for tea or coffee and cake too and it's a chance to meet others, make new friends, chat about all things relevant or nothing in particular while putting the world to rights. Do join us, it will be lovely to meet some of you and maybe make this a regular thing for our busy diaries ?

Hi everyone. This is my second attempt at posting! Where oh where did my first message disappear to? Oh well here goes, 2nd time lucky I hope. We're meeting for coffee tomorrow at 11.00 in Ikea on Gemini Retail Park, Warrington. It would be lovely if some of you could join us. I will be wearing blue jeans, multi stripe scarf and burgundy waxed jacket. Hope to see you there.

Mindy1 I really hope you have an enjoyable meet up and would love a meet with other GNers but I am in The Wirral and Warrington is just that bit too far for me,is there any chance of organising something in Liverpool maybe after New Year.
I have not been able to get to any meetings in all the years I have been a GNer and would love to put faces to names.

I was in the middle of writing a post when it vanished so I hope this one stays put. I haven't been to a meet-up for years - since the early days. Much as I'd like to come to Warrington tomorrow, I have other things organised and I'm not sure my poor old car is up to motorway driving.
I hope you have a good time together and maybe I'll manage to join you another time.

Glammanana thank you too for your post and I would be happy to arrange something in Liverpool in the new year as you suggested. I will pm you later and maybe we could put our heads together to come up with a suitable venue. Take care, Mindy1.

Only just (11.30) received the message that the meet up was on, and at 11 am, so too late now! Have a hospital appt later so can't pop in for a quick hello. Hope it's a great success and Gemini would be ideal for me for any future meet ups - I only live a short drive away.

Well another lovely meetup was enjoyed by Nana Lovejoy and myself, so thank you Nana Lovejoy. We're planning another meetup to take place in the new year so hopefully more of you can manage to join us. Glammanana I have pm'd you with a possible location, I look forward to hearing your thoughts. We will post up the new location and event soon so keep an look out for our new 2019 thread.

Alas i read this too late as it would have been perfect for me ! Typical of me , fingers crossed for the new year meet up hopefully in warrington as i don't drive. Look forward to meeting you all.
