Hi everybody, what are we like. I got strange looks from the waiter when I started collecting chairs and setting them round “ our “ table. We still had a good time all four of us. Look forward to November and yes Treebee definitely going to wear a hat next time.. All the best.

Well , I got held up and arrived at 10.50.... Saw a few groups of ladies by the window but didn't really want to go up and ask if they were gransnetters lol.....so I probably sat near you all.....

Nooooo! I went to the John Lewis cafe for 10.00, and waited, but no Grans came. Did a bit of shopping downstairs, nipped back up to the cafe, saw no Grans again - and left! Checked my calendar when I got home and discovered that it would have been better to have arrived at the appointed hour of 10.30! Sorry to have missed you all.

I'm glad a good morning was had by those who thought to read their diaries before setting forth. Fingers crossed for November!

Four of us had a good chatty meet this morning. Nearly included a passer by who lingered just a little too long at our table!
Next meet will be on a Wednesday, to vary the days, November 21st John Lewis cafe overlooking Middleton Hall 10.30.
Might be an idea to start a new thread nearer the time to make it more visible.

Yes Glam, we are meeting again on Thursday 13th Sept. in John Lewis coffee shop at 10.30. Please come along if you can, it is a lovely group and you will be made very welcome.
