gracesmum, that poem of Rabbie's really does say it all. My Other 'arf and I have been together for just over 42 years now. I still remember how he attracted me - he stood and smiled and tipped his head to the one side. He wore a charcoal grey round-necked jumper with a white shirt under, and the collar was inside it - not over the top of the jumper. I don't know how he saw me or what he saw, but I still remember how I felt then........quite determined, actually....
42 - (but of course I was a child bride - barely legal 
) I think that once you get past certain points, unless something dramatic happens it becomes easier to poddle along together, don't you?
