Any advice getting good car insurance that is not ultra expensive. It all seems to be on line now with everything done on an app.

Are you asking about car tax or car insurance? Car tax is done through the DVLA and is free. Check Martin Lewis’s website for car insurance advice.

My car tax isn't free.
It is done online though.

I use a comparison site to whittle down the myriad offers.
It is cheaper to buy online - but I don't use an app.
