How odd. My daughter had to go to Tribunal to have her PIP returned to her which was a long, stressful process which took nearly 12 months. Until they did she was without transport so housebound and although she had the return of her deposit, the extras she'd paid for in adaptations, she lost. They awarded the PIP back from the date she had appealed and it was for three years. Now, a year after she got it awarded back, she has been sent another renewal form. They have always done this and it means that her PIP has only ever lasted for just over 2 years rather than the 3 she is awarded each time. It is really stressful and, as anxiety is high on her list of problems, really unhelpful.
