How do claims for brain injuries work in the UK?

I live in the United Kingdom, and I had a brain injury last year because of a car accident. Since the accident, I haven't been able to work, and it has been hard for my family to make ends meet. How do claims for brain injuries work in the UK? How do I know if I am eligible for brain injury claim disability benefits?

My son was left in a coma after a road accident which we thought was his fault. We didn't think of claiming. However after the car driver claimed from us for a broken windscreen we saw a solicitor.
My son got a substantial claim and also a disability benefit until he recovered well enough to work.
Perhaps speak to a solicitor and CAB or Disability Action.

It's spam from a law firm, nadateturbe. Which as a retired solicitor I take a very dim view of.

Not at all, you weren’t to know. I don’t click on random links but I knew the name of the firm from being in the profession - not that field though. What I think of some personal injury lawyers and their methods of attracting work isn’t repeatable.
