They are at it again. Recorded call saying that the HMRC were trying to reach me to tell me that there was to be a lawsuit against me, and to press 1 to speak to my case officer.
Absolute balls balderdash. The HMRC just don't work like that. They contact people by post, not by phone out of the blue - and in any case, they have no reason for a lawsuit. If I had pressed 1, I'd have been connected to their premium line, and charged some astronomical amount, or had someone try to persuade me to tell them my bank A/C so that they could sort it all out! Gee, thanks, what altruism!
This was from 0161 850 9343 though that is probably a fake number too.
