Just discovered my home not on UK Land Registry

It's not a problem provided you have the original deeds. When you home is sold it will be registered as part of the process.

Don’t worry, it’s normal for very old houses. My parents house built in early 1900’s wasn’t registered, it’s very easy to do it, all online as below

Oh really ? If I were you, I would get it registered - makes it easier if you or your children, want to sell it.

Following a conversation with a friend I have just checked the Land Registry website and my home is not on it!
Apparently all homes purchased since 1990 are but because we bought it 1980 and haven't moved we are not.
Looking at how to register it seems a fairly expensive and long winded procedure.
Who knew!!
