Is it worth the bother to repair my 10 year old Henry vacuum cleaner?

I have rung the helpline in the past and they have always been very helpful and prompt to answer.

I would attempt a self-repair but after 10 years maybe Henry is wanting to retire?

Am I the only one who hates the Henry? 😁 They are so heavy! In this house my OH refuses to give up uses his trusted Henry and I use my Shark.

I would buy new if you have checked the fuse.

I got rid of Henry a couple of years ago. It's far too heavy to lug up and down stairs and even dragging it around downstairs is too much. I gave it away on our local Facebook page and bought a much lighter cordless stick vacuum. Don't regret it.

It sounds as though it has reached the end of its life. You've had your money's worth. Time for a replacement.
I'm currently looking out for a cordless hand held machine. With several pets, cleaning once a day is not enough. I need something small for a quick clean up, but I need something powerful to collect the hairs.

The best hoover on the market. It may be corded but for performance it leaves Dyson's standing every time. Excellent value for money as well. When our Henry finally gave up the ghost we got a Hetty. Every bit as good.
