Hi. I live in a 3 bed end terrace house which is on the lower end of the value range. I had a quote for double glazing which was £12,000. Then he managed to get it down to £10,000. I didn't go for anything special, just white, and I'm shocked at the price. Am I missing something? Is it always that expensive? I can't afford that, there are no schemes to get help, I've looked. So rather than face another freezing cold winter with the draughts coming in, I'm going to have to apply for a retirement flat with a housing association. I wondered if anyone had any advice before I do? Thanks in advance.
