Please do not shut down this thread, It has been a real lifeline for so many of us. Know that several of us have managed our moves, but even then we have happily been chatting about so many things.
Obviously, anything on social media is there for anyone to see. We should be a little careful about what we say, but let us go on chatting about the sewing, the plants, and the improvements to our homes, and also keep it for those like Sue still trying purchase and for Ellianne, who could well be starting again as her daughter and SiL are selling and buying.
Whiff, obviously, you are upset - do not say or do anything too drastic that you may regret in some future time, try to put aside and concentrate on enjoying your new home and the lovely improvements that are being done and your time with your daugghter and family. Come back, tell us all about your new bathroom, etc.
Shandy, we need to follow you on the final stages of your long and difficult journey to your new home, cannot just leave it as it is.
For all the others, just keep popping in here for our lovely chats.
I am back home now, had a lovely couple of days with daughter and g.daughter, but is so nice to get back to my own home.
I am also having a bad time with my sister in law and her very controlling and cohersive husband. He has prevented her coming to visit me this coming week as we had planned, and she is obviously slipping further and further down into depression and probably alzheimers. Not sure if I will, now EVER be able to meet up with her again. Not upset on my own behalf, I have lots of other things planned for this week, but very upset on her behalf and also her daughter who is worried sick and was really hoping that a few days with me would help her mother.
Oh well, so many plans this year have gone this is just another one.
Do let us continue on here, Craftyone - think a 6th one will need to get going very soon.
