This is the sort of thing you mean I think? I googled Window Privacy Film and lots came up. You can buy it from Amazon and fit it yourself - however I think that will be harder than it might appear. If it were me I’d look for a local trusted handyman to fit it for me

There's a house near me that has privacy reflective film on the lower part of the ground floor windows - I understand that it's only effective during the day.

Neighbours have new blinds , they can see out but we can't see in . I have film on back door window and can't see in or out . When I was in the last house we had nets , ok daytime but useless at night.

Would he cope with very plain, close-fitting roller blinds? They're unobtrusive and there's not much to see.

My neighbour applied Rabbitgoo One Way Window film which she found easier to apply than other makes. Works very well during the day but not in the evening. She bought it on Amazon.

I fitted window film to my utility room window as it was overlooked, it was a doddle to fit so I expect the one way stuff would be just as easy.

What about two-way glass-----as in some courtrooms ?

We stayed in a hotel once and the blinds allowed you to see out but no one to see in. It was in Jersey

There are roller blinds through which you can see out but no-one can see in. I've seen them in white on a UK online company.

Here is one company selling the blinds I mention.

Very inexpensive and MUCH cheaper than one way glass. Will go with any interior decor.

None of these blinds and one-way glass work during the night.

Opaque window film does not allow you to see in or out day or night, lights off or on.

I use a frosted window film on the lower half of my windows. It looks a bit like this. Looks great from the outside and in.
