I have a houseplant that always seems dry. I read somewhere to add a tiny amount of washing up liquid to the water you are watering it with and it holds the moisture in the pot.
Sorry, bmteal - I think that's the Marshmallow plant, which sadly no longer has any connection with the confectionery! But thanks for the tips, everyone. Next time I buy a pack of marshmallows to go on top of my cappuccino I'll try putting a handful in with my "soft" brown sugar.
You could make rice crispy squares, grandchildren love them. Also if you use large marshmallows you can cut out petals for cake decorating,With the marshmallow on its side cut across ,4 times and each piece forms a petal,if you use small coloured marshmallows you get pretty tiny flowers for cupcakes ( spray scissors with oil to prevent sticking) Good luck !
