If you are retired do you find that you always do the things you enjoy and avoid other things. I love to go running three times a week, i play bowls three times a week during the winter and up to five times in the summer, i love to cook and bake, also to potter in my greenhouse and garden, meet friends for coffee and go out with my daughter to the cinema or shopping, i also try to visit my oldest friend every month. This doesn't leave much time for housework and i often plan to do stuff but then think oh its too nice to be indoors, or so and so wants me to go out with them. Should i feel guilty about a cobweb hanging from the ceiling or not!!!

but I refuse to become a slave to it, I still work and can often find something better to do on my day off other than what Mr P refers to as "a spot of light domestic"
