I think I'll have to shell out for a new washing machine - since Christmas, I have noticed that it has shrunk several pairs of my jeans, so that I am having problems doing them up!
I'm quite upset about this, so I think I'll have a sit down with a nice cuppa, and finish up the mince pies and Christmas cake! 
The government changed women's pension age and called it progress. Did anyone actually ask you?
