I store opened cheeses in a plastic box in the fridge, I wrap each cheese block in a peice of kitchen towel, to stop it 'sweating' and it seems to work well.I store eggs in a chinaware chicken in the cool pantry, butter in a dish in there too [in Summer] but left in a dish on the counter top in Winter. Don't have a dish for margarine but you can get them, def. from Scotts of Stow and Amazon.Only have one butter dish, as when butter is all eaten , wash the dish and re-fill it.
