Did you know that you can wash the covers of sun umbrellas? Mine were decidedly grubby and I was on the point of getting rid of them (and trating myself to new ones next year) but I decided to take off the covers and put them in the washing machine. They have come up like new.
Surely, they are only dirty on the outside, which becomes the top, which at 5'5" I can't see. And it does rain an awful lot here!
