I love mine for doing meat and jacket potatoes but not so keen for doing Pizza or cooking a pie as I find I need to protect the top from the heat. They are OK for scones and they cook in the same time but look slightly different.
When doing a casserole I do use a dish inside the machine and try to put most things in/ on a dish to save washing up the big bowl each time. I find it very convenient and it is good to be ale to see how things are cooking. It is very useful for extra oven space when catering for a crowd.
