Hair loss ....anyone with any advice please?

Luckily I have fine thick hair but I have had excessive hair loss for about ten weeks now. A blood test showed no thyroid problem and no anaemia. The nurse practioner told me to buy nizoral and I have used that for three weeks but my hair continues to fall out. It is worrying me but I don't know what elseI can do. I am 78 years old ... is it just natural aging? Any advice gratefully received.

I too am 78 with the same problem it’s been shedding for a long time I’ve tried various shampoos but it’s still shedding badly. I’m considering cutting it really short as I have wavy hair and short it’s quite curly maybe the thinning would be less noticeable. I’ve taken collegen for a year it seemed to help for a few months but now it’s back to shedding again. Thyroid was a tad low but no treatment was advised not sure if there is an answer and it’s just aging sadly.
