I agree with others, 1:1, literal hand holding is needed, but well done, very brave and you’ve come a long way, dont give up 💐

Well done ! Very courageous of you to enroll for swimming lessons. I have never had a fear of water but can appreciate your anxiety.
Keep going, you have made the first step to master such an important life skill.
I agree, one to one may be a good plan .
I wish you well and feel sure you will get there ! You will then love the joy of being in the pool. Its early days so do not be despondent. - Good luck !

Hi, I've recently decided to sign up for swimming lessons at our local pool.
Very small class, so lots of help and attention, however still very panicky when I leave go of the side.
Been going about 7 weeks now, but don't see much improvement.
Have been using a Hypno CD every day which definitely helps me relax, but still not quite getting there.
Anyone else experienced this?
