No! Not an osteopath! Get a proper diagnosis! Nerve pain in your back normally travels down leg for instance front or back and you are in agony. I finished up with surgery on my back as things were getting dodgy. Back problems producing true "nerve pain" can have serious consequences. Do not mess with it .... see a doctor!
I may be wrong, but doubt it’s a slipped disc. I had one years ago and it was the worst pain I have ever had and I couldn’t move without help for weeks. I had to have a special back brace just to be able to stand upright. Eventually it went back into place by itself and I was told I was very lucky. Could you have trapped a nerve, do you think? An osteopath is a good idea.
I was sitting down and bent over to the left and heard a loud click. Now I have nerve pain in my lower back either side of my spine. If I sit down I have to slightly adjust my body to not get the pain.
