I was prescribed Dapagliflozin in hospital about 10 weeks ago, to help with my heart failure. I was warned there was a danger of Thrush because of the increased glucose in the urine, and sure enough, about 3 weeks ago, it started!
It has been an absolute torment! I have had a swab test at my GP and been prescribed Canestan and it is now much improved. I haven't taken the Dapagliflozin for the last 6 days to help things along, but I suppose I will have to start them again soon for my heart.
Has anyone got any advice about how to avoid a recurrence please?
