Hello Ladies
Some of you may remember, that around Christmas 2024, I completely broke a front tooth, from the root.
I had a 1- tooth denture fitted without extracting the root.
I suffered a few abscesses in the retained tooth, and due to severe Dental Anxiety, was referred to hospital to have the root removed.
My appointment is imminent, and the only form of sedation offered to me is Nitrous Oxide, as I have very high BP and can not have Intravenous Sedation, which I would have preferred.
Does anyone have experience of Inhalation Sedation for a tricky extraction, and was it sufficient for anxiety and pain relief?
I look forward to any responses.
Thank you.
