Shoulder replacement (again, sorry!) and swimming

My shoulder is much less painful now post op week 13, but does anyone have any experience of swimming after this op? My consultant is still a bit doubtful,, though it is healing well. I do breaststroke, so quite gentle. I long to get back to normal
