For years my type 1 diabetic husband has had inject Insulin. Previously twice daily , now on a different insulin regime so it is 4 injections over 24 hours. Never been a problem doing the actual injection .
He used to get comments from people about how "they couldn't do it " as they are afraid of needles. Or give a shudder and look away etc. Now it seems the world and it's mother wants to inject themselves with weight loss drugs! Constantly injecting your self can cause problems with fatty tissue and leave your abdomen feeling lumpy. I know the weight loss is injections are weekly rather than daily, but I just wonder if in the future this will be another mess for the NHS ( if we still have one) will be clearing up.
Just want to add my DH has always been slim and his weight in the normal range for his height.
Sunday still feels different. Does anyone else notice that?
