DH had his routine diabetic type II check up last Monday. Bloods were taken and late yesterday evening we had a call from the surgery saying the doctor would like to see him to discuss results. Apparently the doctor was holding a clinic on Saturday.
We saw him early afternoon today. All DH's diabetic results have come back with no problems except for the haemoglobin which came back at 108. He's arranged for a Vitamin B12, Ferritin and Folate blood tests, also a poo test. DH has not had any problems with blood but this is a precaution. He may need a colonscopy at some stage.
We feel better that we've seen the GP so quickly and on a Saturday! Just wondering if any one else has been through this and it turned about OK in the end.
