Hi, posted a while back about microscopic blood in urine.
Long story short…saw gynae and they said that I had vaginal atrophy and there was a small tear that was bleeding, but all ok.
Then gp wanted me to have an ultrasound as I have had ongoing years of urine infections and last month had blood that I couldn’t see in the sample, hence the gynaecology appt
I also had an ultrasound on bladder, kidneys etc.
This was over 3 weeks ago and today had a message to have follow up appt with gp.
I can see they think it may be a rare , usually benign tumour on the kidney. I have to have a rescan and referral as the blood may be coming from there .
Got myself into one hell of a state as I thought this had all been sorted . It’s called a suspected haemangioma on the kidney.
Just needed to vent.
Surely if they thought it was cancer that I wou”d have been contacted urgently after the scan. This is almost a month down the line.
