24 hour pH Monitoring Appointment

It's a nasal tube inserted into your stomach for 24 hours, you come home so just a OP Appointment to have tube inserted. I suffer with dreadful acid reflux & the usual medication is not helping. Apparently this is the only procedure offered with the NHS, I have been told that I'm very lucky to be allocated an Appointment. I am very grateful, just nervous about having a tube inserted into my nose & into my stomach for 24 hours at home. I'm sure it will be fine but will be so glad when its over & done. Was hoping someone here has already had the procedure done & is able to give me some reassurance.

Is it blood pressure - bp - monitoring you mean?

Hello there,
Appointment looming for above procedure, would appreciate any feedback from anyone who have already had this done. Feeling very apprehensive to say the least, any feedback very much appreciated :-)
