Elastic stress band.

I was out with a younger friend this morning and after a while I noticed she was fiddling with her fingers the whole time. Then I realised she was pulling continually on an elastic band on her wrist. I know she had some family problems but I have never seen her do this and now I'm wondering should I have asked her about it and is she OK.

CBT band.. Its apparently designed to stop stress and anxiety.
It's been around for quite a while.
I did a management course once where we were all given an elastic band to flick to demonstrate how it suppose to focus us.
