BCC Removal *thread contains graphic images*

Hello it’s me again had stitches removed surgeon pleased with it but didn’t suggest putting anything on it to help scar heal just clean it with warm water and pat dry . One of my friends have said they used a Silicone Scar Gel after the same treatment I had to help the scar fade quicker.

So as anyone else who as had a BCC removed used a cream of any kind to help the scar fade .

Thank you ladies no I didn’t expect to to be back to normal straight away just hoped someone on GN had had the same procedure having the stitches removed in a weeks time .

Shinamae it’s a Basal Cell Carcinoma it started as a small spot on my chin that just wouldn’t heal up .

Mamgul2 didn’t say she expected to be back to normal in a day did she? She was just expressing an understandable alarm at how gruesome it looked.

Your face has been cut and poked about and had something taken away. Probably stitches also. .Obviously, going to be bruised and swollen.

Surely you did not expect it to look normal within 24 hours.!!!! At least a week or two for it to heal totally.

At least it's been removed. Take it easy. You'll be back to normal soon..
