Covid vaccination 6

MrFC always had bad reactions, but had number 5 last week and absolutely nothing, He was totally fine

Lucca, I had Covid Vax 6 a few weeks ago. In the past, I have had severe reactions, which put me in bed for weeks and had to be reported to the Yellow Card site.
This time, much to my surprise, after having Spirovax, I felt awful for only two days and had no severe reactions. My arm was very painful, but a small price to pay.
I had been expecting the worst.

Thanks but nothing about Covid 6 ! I’ll contact oncologist I think. Not booked until 31st.

The only reported reaction to the latest bivalent vaccination I have heard of is tenderness at the injection site but you are wise to ask your oncologist.

I have just had COVID 6 and flu both in same arm within seconds of each other. No side effects at all apart from a slightly sore arm.

However, I haven't had any reaction to any of the COVID jabs and I have no underlying problems, so may be I am not a good guide to someone in your position, Lucca

Lucca I also have cancer (blood cancer) and had my 6th Covid jab a few weeks ago. I had the Moderna one for the first time so did expect to have some reaction as had been reported but apart from a sore arm for a couple of days nothing happened! The only thing my Consultant had told me was leave at least a week between the flu jab and covid one.

Sorry, Lucca, I didn’t realise the 6th one was different.
For all I know MrFC may have had his 6th one last week, I’ve lost count to be honest.

I had number six last week, I expected a reaction as number five caused me to sleep for two days , it was fine!

I had my 6th covid and the flu jab a week ago. No reaction Just a slightly sore arm on the covid side for a couple of days. The vaccine was the Pfizer bivalent,had Moderna for 5th jab with no reaction. I’m immunocompromised due to blood cancer a few years ago. Just wish we could get the Evusheld that might give us some hope of getting a normal life back after so long more or less isolating.
