I would definitely not go in; it wouldn’t really cross my mind to do so (I suppose that I must be behind the curve about such things)
If I were you I would also contact my GP if your DH is struggling to breathe.

It's been worrying watching my DH struggle to breathe, he has aFib and whether his problems are something to do with that I don't know, but many of our customers in Outpatients have asthma and are elderly it seems criminal to put them at risk.
I still feel fine.
My supervisor will be annoyed because she'll have to cover for me, we're very short of volunteers, but I think I'll stay away, its just one week after all.

If you feel uncomfortable then stay home....but your colleague gave you the correct guidance....I'm a nurse ....my ypungest son ( who is currently staying with us) had covid 3 weeks ago ....I was still expected to work ....I just had to test daily ( otherwise we just test twice weekly) ....sounds like its worrying you so just have a week away and go back next week
