I've never smoked but my husband used to be a heavy smoker. He gave up about 35 years ago. It wasn't easy but he did it. Good luck to all who are trying.
I'm an ex-smoker so every day is a No Smoking day for me. Best wishes to all those determined to quit........my best advice?? You've got to WANT to stop. Good luck!
Hi Nikita80 I had no idea it was National no smoking day tomorrow. I really want to stop, but find it impossible. I have never heard of zyban, but will order some and join you in trying to stop. Wishing us both luck
My husband once said to a workmate who stopped smoking in January give me every week what you would spend on cigarettes and I’ll save it for you. By the September when she went to Las Vegas on holiday he gave her all her spending money back. She couldn’t believe how much there was.
Wishing you very good luck, I smoked for years and gave it up when coming back to the UK, the duty even then was high,(1982). I told everyone I knew that I was giving it up on a certain date and that did spur me on.
I used it a few years back and worked wonders. But then had a downfall and started again. Spoke to the family chemist and he recommended same product so I thought why not try it again. But I am determined this time, I spend far too much money a day. Plus I feel alongside my other problems it will help me become more healthier in general ?
Who's joining me tomorrow and gonna try and quit smoking. I have been speaking to people and I am gonna take the plunge start my course of zyban. Feeling very motivated.
