I just find a bench or at a bus stop etc, or even just standing in the street. It is so discreet these days. I use an Accuckek meter.

fairfraise if you don't drive you won't be sitting in the car testing so can I ask where do you do your testing when you are out ?

It's not just for your own safety but also for all others on the road. I know what it's like to suddenly 'flake out' so I test frequently when out, and even before cutting the grass sometimes!

I'm not a driver but I certainly would test before I set out, halfway through shopping and certainly before setting again, and have snack if necessary.
